Call for Abstracts

We invite submissions of abstracts for presentation at the Infectious Diseases & Pandemic Preparedness Summit 2025.

Submit Your Abstract

Important Information

  • Deadline: All abstracts must be submitted by 11:59pm, Tuesday 5 August 2025

  • Word Limit: Abstracts must be no more than 300 words (excluding title, authors, affiliations)

  • Structure: Abstracts should be unstructured but must include:

    • Statement of the problem or aim

    • Brief methods

    • Clear results

    • Conclusions or significance of findings

  • Figures are not permitted. References may be included and will count toward the word limit.

  • Abstracts will be reviewed and may be returned to authors for revision.

  • If accepted into the programme, no further paper is required.

  • Submissions may still be eligible even if previously published or presented elsewhere. Please indicate this in your submission.

By submitting, you consent to your abstract being published in the official summit programme booklet, app, and on the Te Niwha website.
