Please choose your session and role allocation on the next page. This is the session you will be assigned to unless you are contacted otherwise. 

Please ONLY select one option for each session.

We ask that you limit yourself to a maximum of two sessions and do not sign up for two sessions in a row. If you select more than two you will be contacted to confirm which two sessions you would like to volunteer for.

  • BAR - to be placed at a Beervana brewer bar for the duration of your session; pouring beer for the punters! Experience not necessary but helpful.
  • NOT BAR - dependent on how many volunteers we get for each session, you will be helping our event staff on a variety of jobs. If you have volunteered at Beervana before, we will likely get you to do what you are familiar with.


Basically, don't select two sessions from one day, and don't select two roles from one session!

Which session do you want your FREE TICKET (or tickets) for?

You will receive one free ticket for each session you volunteer at. This will be checked when we finalise roles so if you select more complimentary tickets than you are entitled to you will be contacted to resolve this.

You can choose to use the ticket yourself or gift to a friend. If you are gifting a ticket, please enter their name in the guest field.

Things to note:

  • Volunteers for sessions 2 and 4 are expected to arrive for their session sober. It's recommended that you either attend the session after your volunteer shift or choose a free session on a different day!
  • Do not choose a complimentary ticket for the same session that you are volunteering at - unless you are gifting this to a friend, you cannot attend and volunteer at the same time.
  • Any complimentary tickets that are used by volunteers who do not show up for their shift (whether by the volunteer or their guest) will be charged to the volunteer at $55.00 per ticket used.

In our efforts to ensure Beervana is a safe event for all involved, do you have any prior convictions relating to intoxication/alcohol that we need to be made aware of?

We will apply discretion with this information and are collecting only as we are providing you with “money” that can be spent on alcohol. This information will not be kept on file anywhere by Avenues Event Management or WCET and will be deleted after the event.

You will receive a confirmation email shortly! Please note - this is CONFIRMING that you will be volunteering at Beervana, so put it in your diary!

You will receive another email closer to the event with some finer details laid out for all volunteers. This will include a whole heap of details about the roles, where to go onsite, and how to make the most out of your volunteer experience!
Please let us know if you are keen to work additional shifts or would like to make any changes to your application. 

If, for any reason, you cannot be at Beervana for your volunteer shift, please let us know ASAP so we can fill your spot :)
